Over the last month I had more free time on my hand, so I decided to polish up some of my skills in Python. At first, I started by searching for a book that goes through all the building blocks of the pandas and numpy modules, instead ended up founding this amazing course from University of Michigan!
I learned a lot about basic data analytics tools like merging, grouping and aggregating datasets in python and practiced them in multiple assignments and quizzes. The reference book, "Python for Data Analysis" by Wes McKinney, was incredibly helpful in illustrating the underlying logic of different tools and how pandas or numpy interpret the codes. This book was extremely easy to read, which made the whole learning process very enjoyable!
Besides all the helpfulness of the course itself, this certification and the fact that I was able to complete an online course on time is a great achievement for me personally. I have a bad history with these mini courses that I usually start with enthusiasm but give up on them in the middle of the way. However, this time I planned ahead and committed to my plan through the end and this is just very special to me :)
I hope that I can complete more courses in the upcoming months and tell y'all about it!
